MEET RUBY
Ruby Blaut is a 10-year-old performer with a passion for bringing characters to life onstage and on screen. She recently made her Equity theater debut in Caryl Churchill’s Glass. Kill. What If If Only. Imp. at The Public Theater under the direction of James MacDonald. Ruby’s other credits include many children’s productions, working with numerous respected directors from the early age of six.
A versatile artist, Ruby studies acting, tap dance, voice, percussion (bongos + drums) and choral performance. During her time with The Noble Singers, she participated in two New York Diocesan Chorister Festivals at Cathedral of St. John the Divine. As a member of Broadway Youth Ensemble, she performed at Radio City Christmas Spectacular’s pre-show and opened for Audra McDonald at BergenPAC. Yet Ruby’s most cherished audiences are at local retirement residences. She loves bringing smiles to seniors at Actors Fund Home through a shared love of music.
Ruby has a natural affinity for athletics and enjoys too many sports to name! She has participated in youth soccer leagues for 4 years and is always one of the most dedicated players on the team, showing up for every practice and game and giving pep talks to teammates. She is just as passionate about watching sports, especially cheering on her favorite NYC sports teams!
Ruby is honored to be selected by Rosie’s Theater Kids for their signature “Acte II” program, offering rigorous training in dance, drama, and music beginning in Fall 2026 and continuing through her high school graduation.
